Sorry for the silence, my wisdom tooth went out of control and I had it pulled and the entire thing didn’t really leave me motivated to do anything else other than stay in bed and moan. But now getting back on track! Today I have you a manicure inspired by my new perfume (which I’ll show you guys on Monday), I called this manicure Nuit.
This manicure combines two of my great loves, sponging and taping. I started off with a base of a-england Ascalon which is an awesome medium gray holo with purple duochrome flash, then used striping tape to lay down the zigzag pattern and sponged on top of it with the smooth gradient technique. For the sponging I used a-england Ascalon, Lady of the Lake (plum purple holo) and Bridal Veil (black holo). Once that was done, pulled the tape off and added a layer of China Glaze Fairy Dust (holo on a clear base) for that extra oomph. And sealed the entire thing with a-england Shield.
In daylight:
I’m very happy with how it turned out 🙂
See you guys on Friday when I’ll have a review of the may Estonian Glambox. I got it yesterday and have been vigorously testing, by Friday I’ll be done testing everything 🙂
P.S. A word of advice on wisdom teeth pulling. The pulling is nothing, it’s not painful or anything, just weird. But be prepared mentally and physically that you won’t be able to eat warm and/or solid food for a while, stock your fridge with ice cream, yoghurt, jello and the likes. I failed to do that and as a result I was starving for two days 😀 I was so afraid of the pulling that it didn’t occur to me to prepare for what comes after.
